I found my inspiration

I finally found my inspiration for the family room! Sorry about the terrible photo, stupid camera phone. I mostly put this on here so I would remember what direction I am trying to go :) I can't wait to try to make it happen!

Why the CRAP Room?!?!

Well, this year my husband and I began building our {dream} home, and it has been a CRAZY adventure! During the design phase, we noticed some unused space above the garage {okay, the hubs - heretofore referre to as Big Daddy - noticed the space. There ya go honey, you got credit}. Anyhow, the bonus space could only be accessed through the master bathroom {weird, I know, but who are we to let good space go to waste?}, so we decided to finish it as a craft room. For me. My very own. For as long as we have been married, Big Daddy has referred to my piles of crafty stuff as 'craft crap,' and so naturally the craft room became the 'crap room' according to him. Well, the name stuck, and as construction moved forward the framers, the electrician, the painter, etc., came to know my little corner of the house as the Crap Room. Why fight it, right? I have my own little {okay, it's actually not so little, it's bigger than my master bedroom :} space for my sanity time, and I'm happy. So there you have it, that's my story. I have been wanting to join the craft blogging world for some time {not that have much to contribute, it's more for me to document my ideas/sucesses/major failures for my own use, and since most of my ideas are borrowed, I figured I should give back a little too, so y'all are welcome here anytime! :} I should have some fun posts coming up, so check back soon, in about a month I will be coming at ya live from The Crap Room {eeeek! Can't wait to move in!}
